BTSO at Paris Air Show

Bursa Chamber of Commerce and Industry (BTSO) which aims to increase the competitiveness of the companies through the clustering in the industry of Bursa brought the members of the Aerospace Defense Clustering (UHS) together at Paris Air Show Fair.

Members of the UHS Clustering who are active in BTSO have been continuing to follow the latest development in aerospace and defense sectors closely. BTSO which meets the members of the clustering with many fairs; USA, Germany and Malaysia being in the first place, opened a stand in Paris at the heart of the aerospace sector. UHS members, who were the visitors at fairs before, told their activities and objectives to the visitors at the stand that BTSO opened. The members who aim to raise their levels in aerospace and defense sectors of Turkey and Bursa presented the Turkish/English introductory booklet to more than 2000 visitors who came to the stand.

CLOSE-MARKING TO THE SECTOR

Mr. Remzi Topuk; President of the Assembly of BTSO, Mr. İlker Duran; Member of the Board of Directors of BTSO, Mr. Mustafa Hatipoğlu; Leader of the UHS Clustering and the companies that are UHS members attended the organization which was hold at Le Bourget Fair area in Paris, capital of France. Representatives of the business community of Bursa who met with foreign companies during the fair had the opportunity both to introduce themselves and to follow the developments in aerospace sector closely.

Clustering members also hosted Mr. İsmail Demir; Undersecretary of the Defense Industry, Mr. Temel Kotil; General Manager of THY, head of departments of Undersecretaritat for Defense Industries, Mr. Muharrem Dörtkaşlı; General Manager of TAI and Mr. Mahmut Akşit;  General Manager of TEI.

 “BURSA WILL RAISE THE LEVEL”

Mr. Remzi Topuk; President of the Assembly of BTSO said that, “Bursa aims raising the level in the field of aerospace and defense. UHS clustering members are also excited about this. Clustering members who have opened a stand abroad for the first time represented our city and country ideally. Our country is in a serious breakthrough in the field of aerospace and defense. Bursa has a significant power in these fields. We must contribute much to the economic development of our city and country by using this power in a good way.

 “OUR COMPANIES HAVE BEEN OPENING UP NEW HORIZONS”

Mr. İlker Duran; Member of the Board of Directors of BTSO said that the UHS Clustering that began its activities under the leadership of BTSO in 2013 has gained the appreciation of everyone. Mr. Duran who expressed that clustering members attending to the fairs which are hold in different countries have been opening up new horizons. And he said that “I congratulate clustering members who work for Bursa to get much share from aerospace and defense sectors, and celebrate our members for their successful activities.”

THEY MET WITH THE SASAD OF FRANCE

Mr. Mustafa Hatipoğlu; Leader of the UHS Clustering said that they negotiated with Mr. Thomas Chatel; Area Manager of GIFAS Europe, Russia, Turkey which is known as Defense Industry Association of France, and invited him to Bursa. Mr. Hatipoğlu pointed out that they talked over the sector and clustering activities with Mr. Mithat Yenice; President of Ostim Aerospace and Defense Clustering (OSSA). Mr. Hatipoğlu who emphasized that they told the potential of Bursa and Turkey in aerospace sector by coming together with Envisa Company which is active in Paris with clustering members also said that they had the opportunity to examine the 2-people Versatil Ultra-Light STOL airplane that G1 Aviation Company manufactured.
