2016 Preparations have started for Home&Style Fair that Makes Your Dreams Come True

Bursa Chamber of Commerce and Industry (BTSO) which brings a new perspective to the fair vision in Turkey has started the preparations for the second Home&Style Fair and Design Summit activities with the cooperation of TÜYAP Bursa Fairs and Exhibitions Organization Inc., Mr. İbrahim Burkay; President of The Board of Directors said that “We have achieved great success in our fair which we have organized for the first time this year. We will raise our success level more next year.”

The assessment meeting of the ‘Home&Style Fair and Design Summit’ activities which have been made for the first time in Bursa, Turkey in 28-31th May 2015 within the Bursa Innovation and Design Meetings was held in Altıparmak Branch Office of the Chamber. Mr. İbrahim Burkay; President of the Board of Directors of BTSO, Mr. Şakir Umutkan; Member of the Board of Directors of BTSO, Mr.İlhan Ersözlü; General Manager of TÜYAP Bursa Fairs and Exhibitions Organization Inc., members of advisory board of the fair, representatives of participant companies and architects, and representatives of sponsor companies attended to the meeting.

 “80% OF THE PARTICIPANT COMPANIES ARE SATISFIED”

In his speech, President Mr. Burkay said that they started out the activities for the purpose of bringing 12 fairs at international level to Bursa which has an important fair potential with TÜYAP. Mr. Burkay who reminded that in this context, firstly, they held Bursa Construction Fair with special part of Real Estate, pointed out that they organized the first Home&Style Fair of Turkey in 28-31th May. President Mr. Burkay who expressed that they achieved a great success in terms of participant companies and visitor profile in Home&Style Fair which they realized for the first time in Turkey, said that “We have had an important success in the satisfaction questionnaire made to our companies that attended to the fair. We aim to raise our success level more next year. Mr. İbrahim Burkay pointed out that they want to reveal the values which Bursa has through the fair organizations they organize.

 “HOME&STYLE FAIR HAS BEEN EXAMPLE TO OTHER SECTORS”

Mr. İlhan Ersözlü; General Manager of TÜYAP Bursa Fair Corporation said that “Such a fair has not been organized in Turkey before. We became the best newcomer fair company with of 2015 through the fair activities of BTSO. I would like to thank Mr. İbrahim Burkay; President of the Board of Directors of our Chamber and Members of the Board of Directors.” by expressing that 196 fair companies across Turkey organized more than 430 fairs this year. Mr. Ersözlü who mentioned about the importance of having sustainability in Home&Style Fair said that “We made a stylish fair to be example to other sectors. It is very important to organize the fairs in the next years, too. At this point, we will continue to make the most important contributions as TÜYAP.”

Mr. Namık Ziya Mescioğlu; President of the Board of Directors of Contractor of Building Industrialists and Businessmen Association said that “We have been continuing to realize the firsts in Bursa under the leadership of Bursa Chamber of Commerce and Industry. We held our Home Style Fair for the first time after the Bursa Construction and Real Estate Fair. I believe that many companies will take part in the second fair as participants by deducing from the visitor profile.

Architect Mr. Can Can expressed that qualified fairs which were made in Bursa, serve the “Bursa grows, Turkey grows” vision. Mr. Can said that “I will tell about the pride of taking part actively in the first of this fair which will be a brand in the exhibition history of Bursa after years. I would like to thank BTSO for revealing such a vision.”

After their speeches, Mr. İbrahim Burkay; President of the Board of Directors, Mr. Şakir Umutkan; Member of the Board of Directors and Mr. İlhan Ersözlü; General Manager of TÜYAP Bursa Fairs and Exhibitions Organization Inc., gave plaquets to the members of advisory board of the fair, representatives of sponsor and participant companies for their contributions.

PREPARATIONS FOR THE NEXT YEARS HAVE STARTED

The fair in which there is every kind of design for home from home textile to furniture, from enlightenment to glassware, from vitrified products to garden and bathroom equipment, took was held as the first fair of Turkey in its field in 28-31th May 2015. Within the fair which was made with the motto “Everything that makes the home in your dreams to come true is in this fair”, many native and foreign designers and craftsmen also made several live performances and academic presentations. The second of Home&Style Fair and Design Summit will be held in 2016.
