GUHEM Gökmen Space and Aviation Education Center
Initiated in 2013 under the Gökmen Project in line with BTSO’s vision, GUHEM aims to increase awareness among young people in the fields of space and aviation, while inspiring future initiatives and studies in these sectors.
Established with the support of the Ministry of Industry and Technology as part of efforts to strengthen the transformation of industry in Bursa toward high value-added and high-tech sectors, GUHEM is Türkiye’s first interactive space and aviation-themed education center. It also seeks to enhance young people’s interest in the aerospace industry.
Operating in cooperation with the Turkish Space Agency (TUA) in line with the 10 strategic goals defined in Türkiye’s National Space Program, GUHEM spans 13,000 square meters and features 154 interactive exhibits and experience areas. It stands among the largest centers of its kind in Europe and one of the few in the world. With its distinctive and award-winning architectural design, GUHEM has become one of Bursa’s landmark structures and makes a significant contribution to the city’s tourism by hosting hundreds of thousands of visitors from across Türkiye each year.
