SME Organized Industrial Zone (SME OIZ)
For Bursa’s economic and social development, ensuring global competitiveness and transforming the industry into a high value-added structure requires building an ecosystem in which SMEs in both main industries and supply chains strengthen one another.

BTSO aims to develop new and modern planned industrial zones for SMEs that are currently confined to unplanned industrial areas within the city, struggling to grow due to high logistics costs and limited investment space. These new areas will be connected to highway and railway projects, enabling businesses to increase their production capacity more efficiently.

The SME Organized Industrial Zone (SME OIZ), designed as next-generation planned industrial areas integrated with satellite cities, logistics centers, and advanced wastewater treatment facilities, aims to enhance productivity through production and trade chain integration rather than competition and fragmentation among companies. The SME OIZ, along with Organized Trade Zones and Organized Residential Zones, also presents a significant opportunity for Bursa in achieving sustainable production goals and implementing smart urban development practices.
