Enterprise Europe Network
The Enterprise Europe Network (EEN) was established in 2008 as an initiative of the European Union with the mission of helping European businesses grow and innovate, find business partners, and gain access to finance. Its vision is to support growth-oriented SMEs in bringing their innovative products to international markets, strengthen their innovation capabilities, and provide SMEs with a gateway to global business opportunities.

To achieve these objectives, four main goals have been identified:

- Improving SMEs’ access to finance and enhancing their capacities (through equity and debt financing);
- Improving access to markets, particularly within the Union and also at the global level;
- Enhancing the competitiveness and sustainability of Union enterprises, especially SMEs;
- Promoting entrepreneurship and entrepreneurial culture.

As Bursa Chamber of Commerce and Industry, we carry out our activities under the Eastern Marmara Consortium together with KOSGEB Bursa West Directorate, ABIGEM East Marmara, ULUTEK Inc., KOU Technopark, and DUSIMER in order to support our member companies in line with these goals.

In addition, the relevant consortium partners provide technological support to SMEs, including the identification of R&D needs and technology transfer opportunities, company visits and technology assessment/evaluation activities, technology and innovation transfer, technology and project marketplace activities, support for R&D and Horizon 2020 funding opportunities, as well as assistance in finding technology cooperation and project partners.
