Finding Opportunities and Building Bridges in the Automotive Sector between Turkey and the EU – TEBD/019 Project

Our project entitled "Creating Opportunities and Building Bridges in the Automotive Industry between Turkey and the EU”** commenced on 1 April 2019 under the Turkey–EU Business Community Dialogue Grant Programme", which was launched with the aim of strengthening civil society in Turkey, enhancing mutual understanding between Turkish and European Chambers, and promoting the integration of European and Turkish business communities.

Within the scope of our 18-month project, the initial objective was to raise awareness among Turkish SMEs operating in the automotive sector on topics such as Foreign Trade, Entrepreneurship, the EU Acquis, Environmental Management, and Intellectual and Industrial Property Rights. Another key objective was to transfer the best practices of our EU project partners to Bursa Chamber of Commerce and Industry and the project partner Kilis Chamber of Commerce and Industry. The project also aimed to support our SMEs in participating in both international and domestic bilateral business meetings with members of our EU project partners, namely the Polish Chamber of Commerce and the Bács-Kiskun County Chamber of Commerce and Industry (Hungary).

Training programmes and seminars organized within the scope of the project included:

- Foreign Trade and Entrepreneurship Training Programmes
