Bursa Construction Fair Held Under The Leadership Of BTSO Concluded With A Record Number Of Participants

The Bursa Construction Fair which was held between 9th-12th April 2015 in co-operation with the Bursa Chamber of Commerce and Industry (BTSO), TÜYAP Fairs and Exhibitions Organization Inc., Building Contractors Industrialists' and Businessmen's Association (İMSİAD), Bursa Association of Plumbers and Building Materials (BURTİMDER) and Bursa Chamber of Real Estate Brokers and visited by almost 53.000 visitors from 32 countries, concluded with a record number of participants and visitors with a 60% increase compared to the previous year. 

Mr. İbrahim Burkay, President of the Board of Directors of BTSO, said that fairs are of great importance as far as the future targets of Bursa are concerned and in this context, 12 national and international fairs are planned to be held.

Mr. Burkay added that “Special Housing Projects Section” was also held within the fair that received the attention of the visitors from Kuwait, Qatar, UAE, Bahrain and Saudi Arabia including the Saudi Prince Saud Bin Abdulaziz Bin Mohammed Al Faisal Al Saud and ambassadors of the Gulf countries and the investors met with the representatives of the sector in Bursa. Mr. Burkay said that “Home&Style Fair” will be held in May within the “Bursa Innovation and Design Meetings” which will enable Bursa to become a trend setting center for home fashion in addition to the housing projects.

Mr. İlhan Ersözlü, General Manager of TÜYAP Bursa, said that the fair was held at 4 halls by the participation of 270 companies, 675 brands this year which increased 60 % compared to the previous year. 

Mr. Namık Ziya Mescioğlu, President of İMSİAD, said that the “Special Housing Projects Section” of the fair fulfilled a great demand of the sector where investments of approximately 6 billion dollars were exhibited.

Mr. Yusuf Aydın Eskibozkurt, President of BURTİMDER, declared that the fair was successful and Mr. Erdal Çelebi, President of the Bursa Chamber of Real Estate Brokers, thanked the BTSO for co-operation.
