A cooperation call from Vietnam to the Investors of Bursa

Mr. Le Phu Coung; Commercial Counselor of Vietnam Embassy hosted by Bursa Chamber of Commerce and Industry (BTSO) met with the representatives of business community of Bursa and said that the companies of Bursa would be able to export with zero rate to EU and the USA through Vietnam.

With the organization of BTSO, Mr. Le Phu Cuong; Commercial Counselor of Vietnam Embassy made a presentation to business community of Bursa about investment and cooperation opportunities of Vietnam. Mr. Cuong who expresses that Bursa is one the most important centers for the economy of Turkey pointed out trade relations between Vietnam and Bursa are not at the desired level. Mr. Cuong said that they offered foreign investors advantages as government by reminding that Vietnam is a country in which multinational companies are intensively active.

 “EXPORT WITH ZERO RATE”

Mr. Cuong expressed that Vietnam signed free trade agreement with Russia, the USA and European Union countries. Mr. Cuong who calls for cooperation with companies of Bursa active especially in ready-made clothing and apparel sector said that “You can have the chance to export to Russia, EU and the USA with zero rates through Vietnam. You can benefit from the opportunities of our country in not only textile and ready-made clothing but also in many different sectors. Vietnam is in a competitive location. In our country, there are attractive opportunities such as production inputs, electricity and land costs as well as cheap labor.”

 “WE MUST REMOVE TRADE BARRIERS”

Mr. Cuong who says that there is a political stability in Vietnam pointed out that export rate was 150 billion Dollars; import rate was 148 billion Dollars last year. Mr. Cuong who expressed that they desire to develop trade cooperation with Turkey said that “Vietnam has a competitive structure in every aspect. Our labor costs are really low. We would like our companies to remove trade barriers and we want to introduce the Vietnamese companies to the world. We are open to all kinds of cooperation and all kinds of support to strengthen the relations between the companies of Bursa and companies of Vietnam.”
