A Visit from the Turkish Retailers Federation to BTSO

Mr. İbrahim Burkay; President of the Board of Directors of Bursa Chamber of Commerce and Industry (BTSO) said that “Bursa must provide sectoral diversity to reach its goals” by expressing that the countries in the world which have cities creating most values direct the global competition.

Mr. İbrahim Burkay; President of the Board of Directors of BTSO hosted Mr. Mustafa Altunbilek; President of Turkish Retailers Federation and Mr. Haşim Kılıç; President of Bursa Branch of PERDER. Mr. Burkay who spoke at the visit that was paid in Altıparmak Branch Office expressed that Bursa which is the second exporting city of Turkey directs the national economy. Mr. İbrahim Burkay who says that Bursa has a great potential not only in automotive, machinery and textile sectors, but also in different fields pointed out that sectoral diversity has a great importance and as BTSO, they have realized the projects to dynamise the trade and industry in the city.

“RETAIL SECTOR HAS A GREAT IMPORTANCE”          

Mr. Burkay who expressed that they have formed the “Sectoral Council” structuring in chambers and exchanges in Turkey for the first time by prompting the common mind of the city, said that “Retail Trade Council” is also among the 18 Councils. Mr. Burkay who expressed that retail sector has a great importance for Bursa said that over 500 people have benefitted from hygiene educations which they organized together with Bursa PERDER in 2014.

 “WE ARE WATING FOR FORMING OF THE NEW GOVERNMENT”

Mr. Mustafa Altunbilek; President of Turkish Retailers Federation reminded that the law which retail sector waited for many years has been enacted this year. Mr. Altunbilek who expressed that the law does not meet their expectations sufficiently said that “The Retail Law which our sector waited curiously came into force last month. This law has a great importance for us. Some regulations should be made in its current situation. We have expectations about the implementation of it. We will do our best to fulfill these demands after the new government is formed. ”
