BUTGEM is being a model to the world

Experts of United Nations Development Program have been impressed by Bursa Design and Technology Development Center (BUTGEM) which is active within the umbrella of Bursa Chamber of Commerce and Industry (BTSO) Education Foundation. UN Committee said that the centers like BUTGEM should be established in different countries, too

Experts of United Nations Development Program visited BUTGEM which contributes much to meet the requirement of qualified intermediate staff of the industry of Bursa. UN Development Program Committee which was hosted by Mr. Fahrettin Güler; Member of the Board of Directors of BTSO examined the courses and fields of the training. UN Committee for 4 people met with the students who have training in the courses of Model Robot, Wood Toy Workshop, Wire Car and Origami Paper Art. The Committee which got information from the course teachers has found the activities of BUTGEM successful. The Committee also had an exchange of ideas about the subjects of renewable energy.

“BUTGEM IS A TREASURE”

Mr. Fahrettin Güler; Member of the Board of Directors of BTSO who gave the committee information about activities of BUTGEM expressed that they are pleased by the visit of the Experts of UN Development Program. Mr. Gülener pointed out that the courses which are given by experienced expert trainers in their field are so valuable for the ones who wanted to have jobs. Mr. Gülener said that “BUTGEM is a great opportunity for Bursa and our country. Young people who do not have jobs have been continuing to reach to the jobs in their dreams thanks to BUTGEM. We will always continue to support BUTGEM which is unbelievably valuable for the industry of Bursa. BUTGEM is a big school. Everyone must benefit from the knowledge and experience here.”

“THE SUCCESS OF BUTGEM COULD BE A MODEL TO THE WORLD”

Expert Mr. Sahba Sobhani who expressed that he is so glad to be in BUTGEM said that “We have seen the vocational training given under the leadership of BTSO on site. Bursa is an important center for vocational training. We have witnessed to this. Young people have many beneficial trainings in practical fields. These centers should be all over the world.”

“WE NEED THE EXPERIENCE OF BUTGEM”

Ms. Vesna Dzuteska who made examinations with the committee in BUTGEM expressed that she is impressed by the trainings and activities in BUTGEM and said that “According to the last research conducted, the employers cannot fill 25% of the positions which they declared as they cannot find staffs in the conditions they search. At least 30% of the ones who have been employed do not have required experiences. We must apply the model of BUTGEM in different countries, too. We need the experience and capacity of BUTGEM.”
