Performance of the Professional Committees of BTSO is a Model for Turkey

The professional committees of the Bursa Chamber of Commerce and Industry (BTSO) have organized almost 1.500 meetings and 227 events since May 2013. Mr. İsmail Kuş, Deputy President of the Board of Directors of the BTSO, congratulated the professional committees for their successful performance and declared that they will always continue to support the activities of the professional committees which are models for Turkey with their successful activities and performance.

Common Meeting of the Professional Committees of BTSO was held at the headquarters of the BTSO with the participation of Mr. İsmail Kuş, Deputy President of the Board of Directors of the BTSO, Mr. Ferudun Kahraman, Vice President of the Board of Directors of the BTSO, Members of the Board of Directors, Chairmen and members of the Professional Committees. During the first session of the meeting, the terrorist attacks on the Turkish security forces were condemned and the moment of silence was observed.

Mr. Kuş said that the second round of the workshops of the BTSO sectorial councils has started at which the local action plans that define the road maps of the sectors  are prepared and submitted to the attention of the concerned ministers and the public. Important investment decisions such as Techno Organized Industrial Zone, energy efficiency center and textile and composite excellence centers have been defined as per the meetings of the committees and councils.

Mr. Kuş added that their aim is to enable Bursa to become an important center of fairs. He added that the following fairs will be organized in near future:

Contract Hotel Expo Bursa (November 11-14, 2015)
The fair is the business contracts fair concerning the hotel, restaurant, hospital and catering industry.

Bursa Marble Block Fair 2015 Marble Block and Construction Machinery Fair (November 25-28, 2015)
The fair aims to pioneer a first not only in Turkey, but also in the whole world by exhibiting thousands of block marbles and by bringing together hundreds of manufacturers.

Bursa Metal Processing Technologies Fair (December 10-13, 2015)
The fair will create an effective synergy by bringing together the leading companies of complementary industry branches, give the metal processing industry a substantial push by collectively presenting new technologies, hardware and system innovations, create new partnership and business opportunities by bringing together industry representatives from abroad under the same roof, obtain industry know-how regarding respective specialty fields.

JUNIOSHOW Bursa Baby – Kids Ready-to-wear and Kids’ Necessities Fair (January 13-17, 2016)
The fair will be the venue where the latest trends of spring and summer period in 0-12 age baby and kids ready-to-wear industry will be displayed and a unique fair experience for participants and visitors with trend areas designed by world renowned trend experts, trend conversations with prominent designers, fashion shows and competitions will be offered.

Mr. Irmak Aslan, Chairman of the BTSO Arbitration and Mediation Center, delivered a presentation on the activities of the center. He said “mediation is a voluntary practice. In order to expand the use of this practice, it could be considered that this practice is compulsory. The mediator is the third person to solve the conflicts. As the BTSO, we will continue our activities to expend this practice which is an effective, cheap and peaceful way of solving conflicts.”
