We will not waste the entrepreneurial spirit of women

Mr. İbrahim Burkay; President of the Board of Directors of Bursa Chamber of Commerce and Industry (BTSO) met with the members of the TOBB Bursa Women Entrepreneurs Council and the Board of Directors of Association of Bursa Business and Professional Women’s Association (BUİKAD). Mr. Burkay; President of BTSO said that business community needs new women entrepreneurs.

Mr. İbrahim Burkay; President of the Board of Directors of BTSO came together with Mrs. Nurcan Özdemir; President of the Executive Committee of TOBB Bursa Women Entrepreneurs Council (KGK) which is active within the Chamber and Mrs. İpek Yalçın; President of BUİKAD. Mr. İbrahim Burkay who spoke in the visit underlined that the number of women entrepreneurs is not enough in Turkey. Mr. Burkay who expressed that the women entrepreneurs should contribute more to the Turkish economy said that “We know that the rate of women entrepreneurs is more than 40% in developed countries. Thus, we must definitely direct our women to entrepreneurship.

 “WE MUST INCREASE THE NUMBER OF WOMEN ENTREPRENEURS”

Mr. Burkay who expressed that everyone should do their duty in order to increase the number of women entrepreneurs said that “We must not waste the entrepreneurial spirit of our women who constitute the half of the population. I believe wholeheartedly that our women will be more successful in business world. The more our entrepreneur women increase, the more our country and Bursa will reach their goals. ”

WOMEN WILL COLLABORATE

Mrs. Nurcan Özdemir who expressed that institutions like TOBB KGK and BUİKAD should find a solution the problems of women in business world by coming together said that “We would like the problems of women to be solved and to enable them having an active part in professional and social life. Thanks to the projects which we will realize, we will see that women in Bursa will be in economic and social life much more. In this context, we will be glad to work together with BUİKAD which we see as a successful partner. ”

 “OUR CONTRIBUTION TO THE ECONOMY WILL INCREASE”

Mrs. İpek Yalçın who emphasized that they could work together with the members of KGK which is active in BTSO in order to increase the number of women entrepreneurs said that “We must increase the women employment and the number of women entrepreneurs in Bursa. We can make a good cooperation with TOBB Bursa Women Entrepreneurs Council on this subject. This unity and solidarity among us will make a great contribution to the urban economy.”
