Identity of the Data Controller

This Information Notice has been prepared and presented to you by BURSA CHAMBER OF COMMERCE AND INDUSTRY (the “Institution”), acting as the Data Controller under the Personal Data Protection Law No. 6698 (“KVKK”) and the Communiqué on the Principles and Procedures to Be Followed in Fulfilling the Obligation to Inform, with its registered address at Organize Sanayi Bölgesi Mavi Cad. 2. Sok. No:2 Nilüfer/BURSA.

Purpose of Processing Personal Data

Your personal data, including your name-surname, company name, and contact information (e-mail, phone number), as well as your questions, issues, and suggestions, are processed when you apply in person, register online, contact us via telephone, WhatsApp communication line, or e-mail.

Your personal data are processed by the Institution for the following purposes:

• Providing prompt solutions and recommendations to your requests and issues and obtaining opinions from competent professionals when necessary,

• Carrying out necessary activities and business processes to enable relevant individuals and legal entities to benefit from the services provided by our Institution,

• Determining the number of applicants for statistical purposes,

in compliance with the principles of lawfulness and fairness, purpose limitation, data minimization, and storage limitation, and for as long as required by the relevant legislation or processing purposes.

Method and Legal Basis for Collecting Personal Data

Your personal data specified in this Information Notice are collected physically or in writing when you apply in person with identity verification, electronically when you apply via the Institution’s website or WhatsApp support line, and verbally and/or audibly when you apply via telephone. Your personal data are processed fully or partially by automated means based on the legal grounds of “explicitly provided by law” and “explicit consent of the data subject” under Article 5 of the KVKK.

Transfer of Personal Data

Your personal data may be shared with the Institution’s affiliates, consultants, and, when legally required, authorized public institutions and organizations for the purpose of obtaining expert opinions and providing solutions to your requests and issues in the shortest time possible. Apart from this, your personal data will not be transferred or shared with third parties under any circumstances.

Your Rights under the Personal Data Protection Law

As a data subject, you have the rights set out in Article 11 of the KVKK. You may submit your requests under Article 11 of the Law, titled “Rights of the Data Subject,” in accordance with the Communiqué on the Procedures and Principles for Application to the Data Controller, in writing to Fethiye OSB Mahallesi Mavi Cadde No:13 Nilüfer/BURSA.

Within the scope of the Personal Data Processing Information Notice (“Information Notice”) presented to me by the Data Controller Bursa Chamber of Commerce and Industry, I declare that I have been informed by reading the Information Notice and that I freely and explicitly give my consent to the processing of my personal data, including my name-surname, company name, contact information (e-mail, phone number), and my questions, issues, and suggestions, collected physically or in writing when I apply in person, electronically via the Institution’s website or WhatsApp communication line, or verbally via the communication line, through fully or partially automated means for the purposes of providing prompt solutions and recommendations to my requests and issues, enabling relevant individuals and legal entities to benefit from the services provided by the Institution, carrying out necessary business processes, and determining the number of applicants for statistical purposes, as well as to the transfer of my data to real persons or private legal entities (consultants) and authorized public institutions and organizations as stated in the Information Notice, and that I have been informed of my rights.
