BUTGEM Training Center
BTSO responds to its members’ need for qualified workforce through training programs developed within BUTGEM, based on direct feedback and demand from its member companies. Located in the Demirtaş Organized Industrial Zone, BUTGEM operates on a 12,000-square-meter indoor campus equipped with state-of-the-art computer systems, up-to-date software in lecture halls and classrooms, and fully equipped practical workshops featuring a wide range of machinery and technical equipment.
Operating under the BTSO Education Foundation, BUTGEM achieves a high employment rate, with nearly all trainees successfully placed in jobs upon graduation. The center also offers professional development programs for employees and modular training programs tailored for institutions.
Continuously updating its training programs in line with evolving industry needs, BUTGEM has established augmented and virtual reality-supported training laboratories for occupations facing workforce shortages. In addition, the Next Generation Vehicle Technologies Sectoral Vocational Training Excellence Center has been launched within its structure.
BUTGEM was selected among the finalists in the “Best Education and Training Project” category at the 2017 World Chambers Competition organized by the World Chambers Federation. Recognized as a model project by the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP), BUTGEM is also one of the global partners of the Turkish Cooperation and Coordination Agency (TİKA).
