Cluster Groups
The increase in the competitiveness of Bursa—our country’s production and export hub—is of great importance for achieving the national targets we have set. In strategic sectors such as space, defense and aviation, rail systems, baby and children’s apparel, machinery, food, textiles, composites, chemicals, rubber, tourism, renewable energy, automotive, construction, and information technologies, nearly 1,000 member companies have been brought together within cluster groups formed through a culture of cooperation.

Within the scope of clustering initiatives, the Ministry of Industry and Technology provides support in areas such as developing the labor market, establishing shared testing laboratories, and fostering new product and technology development. BTSO’s Sustainable Home Textiles Cluster Group is the first and only textile clustering project supported by the Ministry of Science, Industry and Technology.

In addition, the activities carried out within these groups—bringing together business representatives, academics, public institutions, and civil society organizations—enhance value creation and quality standards, thereby strengthening the sectors in international markets.
