Sectoral Councils
Sectoral council structures were established by our Chamber for the first time among chambers and commodity exchanges in Türkiye in order to provide more comprehensive services to sectors and to further enhance these services. Within this scope, sectoral councils were formed in 22 different sectors.
Bringing together representatives of public institutions and non-governmental organizations, industry professionals, academics, and BTSO assembly and committee members around the same table, these councils have created a solid foundation for the development of sectors and the strengthening of cooperation between the public and private sectors. Sectoral councils, which constitute the focal point of BTSO projects, have also played a leading role in shaping the roadmap of Bursa’s economy by sharing the sector reports they prepare with the public.
