Arbitration and Mediation Center
Arbitration and mediation are among the most widely used methods for the fast and effective resolution of commercial disputes. In this context, BTSO has pioneered an initiative in Türkiye by establishing the BTSO Arbitration and Mediation Center, with the aim of enabling disputes to be resolved in an economical, confidential, rapid, and sustainable manner. Through BTSO TAM, our Chamber promotes amicable settlement of disputes and plays an active role in the development of alternative dispute resolution mechanisms.
In relation to the activities of the BTSO Arbitration and Mediation Center, agreements have been made at the national level with the Ministry of Justice, universities, institutes, and various public and private organizations. At the international level, a cooperation protocol has been signed with the Birmingham Chamber of Commerce regarding activities and training related to alternative dispute resolution institutions and the settlement of commercial disputes. Our Chamber has also contributed to the establishment of the Master’s Thesis Program in Alternative Dispute Resolution at Bursa Uludağ University.
